#KidLitVibes Summer 22

For June’s #KidLitVibes writing contest, we spun the “Wheel of Feels” and received a feeling-word we needed to communicate in 125 words max. My word was “lucky.”

I woke up Tuesday and baby, before my feet were even in my sneakers I knew the day was meant for me. My favorite shirt was on the top of the stack. I pulled an empty box of my go-to cereal off the shelf, and a brand new box in all of it’s Choco-Puff glory was right behind it.  The song I was singing at breakfast came on the radio on the way to school, and my class got fifteen minutes extra recess for running our butts off at the jog-a-thon.  They were out of burgers in the cafeteria at lunch time, so they gave me spaghetti and meatballs- #powerfood!  You feel me CRUISING? The sun is bright, and I don’t see a shadow around.
